Materials

Quality you can feel

Material quality decides whether people will actually wear your merch. What we make from, what we print with and what we pack into.

01Cotton

Organic cotton as the base

Most of our apparel is 100% organic cotton. It is grown without synthetic fertilisers and pesticides, so it is kinder to the soil and to the people who harvest it.

It is also a practical advantage for printing. The fibre is smoother, ink goes deeper and the print survives dozens of washes. Where it makes sense we use recycled and upcycled materials.

  • No synthetic fertilisers or pesticidesgentler farming and a cleaner fibre
  • Smooth fibreink goes deeper and the print lasts
  • Recycled and upcycled blendsa second life for fabrics that would otherwise be wasted

02Inks

Inks free of heavy metals and phthalates

For every printing process we use inks that contain no heavy metals and no phthalates. They are safe for skin, for the people doing the printing and for the water they reach during cleaning.

That applies to screen printing, digital and sublimation as well as to special effects such as puff, 3D brick, neon and glow-in-the-dark inks.

  • No heavy metalsno lead, cadmium or chromium
  • No phthalatessafe for children's clothing too
  • One range for all techniquesincluding puff, neon and glow

03Packaging

We pack without plastic

Finished goods go into recyclable or compostable bags and into cardboard boxes cut to the product. The box fits, nothing moves inside and no filler is needed.

We can match the packaging to your visual identity, from a printed bag to a sticker on the box. Unboxing is the first touch of the brand.

  • Recyclable and compostable bagsinstead of plastic
  • Boxes cut to the productno filler and no wasted volume
  • Packaging in your identitycolours, logo, stickers, hang tags

04Fabrics and weights

Fabric and weight chosen for where it will be worn

For every piece we choose the fabric and weight by purpose. Light knits for summer and sport, heavy brushed fleece for winter, stretch blends where the garment has to fit close to the body.

Fabric samples are in the showroom. You compare weight and hand feel on the spot, before anything is sewn or printed.

  • Light knitssummer, sport, layering
  • Heavy fleecebrushed inside, for cold days
  • Stretch blendswhere the garment has to fit

05How we choose

Material is chosen by hand, not on a screen

Weight, softness, fit and how a colour sits on a specific fabric cannot be judged from a photo. That is why we keep samples in the showroom.

  1. 01

    Purpose

Staff merch can take a different weight than a limited e-shop collection.

  2. 02

    Artwork

Photographic print wants a smooth fibre, embroidery a firmer knit.

  3. 03

    Quantity

Larger runs favour screen printing and cotton, small ones digital.

  4. 04

    Sample

Nothing goes into production until you hold the sample.
